Time to move on...
The time has come to move on. My new blog site is now up and running. I will keep this Xanga site up as a sort of archive so people can look back on how my photos have progressed. Thank you to everyone who's shown support for my work. Hopefully you can continue to follow me on my new and much improved site.
For those of you who missed it, here is the link: www.paoloconstantino.com/blog
As a farewell, here are some fitting words from a recent fortune...
Peace,
Paolo

Golden Birthday
What a Golden Birthday celebration it has been. Ending it with my first ever Bulls game, dinner with my sis and a fun hang out at Jag's uncle's condo definitely made this one of the most fun birthday celebrations I've ever had. Although the Bulls lost, hanging out with Jag, Sandy and Christine, plus seeing my sister Monika and her boyfriend Jay (both of whom flew all the way from Toronto to see me), definitely made this an amazing day.
What I woke up to on the day of my birthday.
Couldn't go inside until we got pics with the greatest of all time.

The view from our seats.

A fisheye view during the the Star Spangled Banner.
The Madhouse burger.
The pretty ladies.
Dinner at Joy Yee.

I love my sis! How many siblings out there will fly to see their brother for dinner?
Post-dinner 'hang out' at the condo
Sleep over next time?

What an amazing weekend it has been. Now, I just have to wait and see if my birthday wish comes true. Thanks again to everyone who greeted me and took the time to surprise me!

April Birthdays
April, a month full of birthdays. My friends Jag, Krisette and Jenny all have their birthdays within the span of a week. I was lucky enough to be invited to join them and their family for a dinner celebration at Cafe Ba Ba Reeba, located on Lincoln Park, Chicago. The restaurant features Spanish tapas (small portions of food, usually snacks and appetizers) and includes flamenco performances which are highly entertaining. The food was delicious and I definitely wouldn't mind going back there again.
This is Jenny. The girl who calls me her "boyfriend"...haha. She loves doing goofy faces.

Brother-Sister love.

The old man needed a breather, haha.
On the way back, I spotted a cool light display from one of the buildings by Millennium Park. It made me smile.Yesterday was my birthday and in place of a typical Filipino party, I usually treat my closest friends to dinner. This year however, I've decided to replace it with a trip to Chicago and watch game 4 of the Cavs-Bulls playoff series with Jag and two lucky friends this Sunday, April 25th. As a result I won't have any pics until after then. I did however get to celebrate my birthday at the bars here at Purdue with my friends. They even came out of nowhere and surprised me with a Ghirardelli chocolate ice cream cake! Thank you to everyone who took time to greet me. I am so thankful for having such amazing friends.

Friends
What do you do when you're down? Distract yourself. Find something to keep your mind from thinking about things that bother you. Thankfully, I have such an amazing group of friends who have helped me do just that. Troubles, problems, regrets and feelings of pain may linger but if you surround yourself with the right people, these will all eventually subside. I have repeatedly been knocked down in my life but I know for a fact that these guys will always be there help me get back up.
Thanks to the awesome weather, I've been able to hang out with my friends a lot more and snap some shots of them. To move away from this recent roller coaster of emotions, I'll start things off on a lighter note...haha. (Note: the girls below are straight. They're just really good friends)

Learn from the past. Live for the present. Dream of the future.
With all that said, I still can't help but wish that things were different.

Nikkie + Kyra
Saying PSA Formal weekend was 'amazing' would be an understatement. I definitely had the time of my life. The weekend was topped off with a fun photo shoot with my good friend Kyra and her 'lil sis' Nikkie. I'd say more but I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Even this lil guy couldn't take his eyes off them.

There you have it. Oh and to top things off, here are some of Nikkie's buddies.
Thanks Nikkie and Kyra for being such awesome models!
